Trasfoco: Fishing

A long time ago, every morning the men of Arrecife set out to sea in their small boats to earn their living. In small groups or individually, in little motor boats or rowing, all of them went in search of local varieties of fish like sand smelts, boques and viejas. With the introduction of new regulations, some of the equipment to bring home their daily catch were banned. In any case, every day there are fewer and fewer men who wish to continue this way of life. This is an emotional and unique documentary, recorded by members of the ALCA group, about those men, hardened in the rough conditions of the sea, and now reminders of an Arrecife that has virtually vanished.
