Un cielo impasible

Sessions: 25/11-02/12

A small group of students undertakes a film project to get a better understanding of the greatest collective trauma in their country’s recent history: the Civil War. From the viewpoint of a generation living almost one century after those terrible years, the film revisits accounts of the conflict, travels to the scenes of some of the bloodiest battles, and discusses the meaning of it all. Little by little, the students set forth their views, reading and internalising the experiences of other young people who, 85 years earlier, narrated in letters and diaries their lives during the horror of war. Nearly a century has elapsed, but many of those who died in that war had not even reached their twenties.
