Grau is the fishermen’s quarters in Gandía, a town that attracts thousands of tourists every year. Located at the mouth of the river Serpis, it has been home to fishermen for hundreds of years. At the moment, however, although they set out to sea every day at sunrise the catch is disappointing. Something has changed in the sea and the time these fishermen spend patiently waiting has become a fruitless exercise. For most of them, every time they return to port is another reminder of the inevitable end of their way of life.
